Key Decisions

Adopted a "Local-First" database strategy with Flutter and Firebase to allow users to scan groceries in low-connectivity areas (like basement supermarkets) before syncing to the cloud.

Integrated a weighted "Recipe Recommendation" engine that prioritizes ingredients with the earliest expiry dates, directly reducing household waste through algorithmic suggestion.
Learnings
→Mastered the implementation of the Google Cloud Vision API for high-speed barcode and label recognition within a Flutter mobile environment.
